Borough Council Cancels Monday Meetings
The regular Emmaus Borough Council meeting and the Budget & Finance Committee meeting advertised for Monday night are being canceled, according to the borough.
Emmaus Borough Council has canceled two meetings scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20, according to an email from the borough.
Both the Budget & Finance Committee Meeting, advertised for 6:45 p.m., and the regular Emmaus Borough Council Meeting, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., have been canceled, the message says.
Borough offices are open on Monday, which is being observed by some as Martin Luther King Day. Pennsylvania state offices, including PennDOT, and federal offices are closed Monday.
