More Unlocked Cars Entered in Emmaus, Items Taken

Emmaus Police again warn residents to lock their cars.

People in the Borough of Emmaus continue to leave their vehicles unlocked and items continue to be stolen from their unlocked cars, according to the Emmaus Police Department.

Police say that numerous residents in the area of North and Harrison streets reported that their unlocked vehicles had been entered overnight between August 4 and 5. Some reported items missing.

Similarly, overnight between July 28 and 29, residents in the Stryer section of Emmaus reported that items were taken from their unlocked vehicles, police say.

Once again, Emmaus Police would like to remind residents to lock their cars and not leave valuables in them.

Emmaus Patch previously reported that on July 9, according to Emmaus Police, several residents in the 500 block of Penn Court reported that someone entered their unlocked cars and stole GPS units and other items.
