ReplyHere's a suggestion for everyone, why not make parking only available on one side of main street for the duration of the construction. This option would keep a lane open for emrgency vehicles and any unauthorized use would be subject to fines. Not only will this insure safe passage for emergency vehicles, but give some added revenue to the borough. Just a thought for the borough to use.

ReplyThank you Josiah,
As my daughter had wanted one and I never thought to go to our local Government's representative to overrule that silly restriction. It amazed me that we allow the more fierce aggressive type of animals as pets, but a little hedgehog not. I am with you on this endeavor and as soon as it is legal, i will be looking to adopt one for my daughter. Again thank you for being so resourceful. -

It is unbelievable that it even went to court to begin with, if she was unhappy with her grade before she graduated she should of said something then or retake the class with a different professor. I agree with SaraKVX as entitlement and behavior were not professional, as for her claims of prejudice, well that in itself was just an excuse for her lack of responsibility in doing her best.

ReplyKnowing Mayor Callahan from years back, I will side with him. Maybe the ref didn't want to acknowledge that the Mayor was right and not comfortable with him watching the match. One does not know, but to eject someone because they disagree in a nice manner is ridiculous.

ReplyI believe that the players were innocent and that they should not have to pay the price for the ones that covered up the dirty deed and were not the ones to inflict the pain. Joe Paterno was the scape goat and should have his name cleared. The two that should face charges are of course Sandusky and that witness that saw the act. Had he gone to the police or called the police we would not have had this outcome. Penn State itself did not commit the crime, but the adults that should of known better. I hope that Corbett is able to fix the wrongs of the students and players have received through no fault of their own.

ReplyI babysat at the age of fourteen and on one night, I had six children to watch. It all depends on like everyone stated the maturity of the child. it is a shame that the neighbor didn't offer to help and instead caused such anguish for this family. I am sure the eldest is indeed upset about all of this as not only did he put his sibling in danger by not keeping a closer eye out, but now may lose his mom, too. So sad.

We moved last summer because of many chnges that took the safety and small town feel away after living there for over a decade. I still have friends there and like to do business there, but now it is way too noisy and too much traffic. In every area the state has taken over roads and made life worse for peace and tranquilty along with major traffic tieups. What does that say for our state department, not much. I agree with Ms. Looby, with no parking on the main street as safety would be had along with making the traveling better.
