ReplyI am very disappointed. On paper she had the best qualifications. I don't doubt Carl and Jack love Nazareth but I do not see where either one has the education and experience required to give the proper background.

ReplySpeaking of us seniors. We can use this pool. We don't get to use the pool and the other perks the school board sticks us with.

ReplyThe primary duty of government is public safety. The Borough Council has decided public safety is not important. We need our own police force. Elections are coming. I want to know where every candidate for council and mayor stand on this issue. I hope other residents feels the same and don't vote for anyone who will not keep our police.

ReplyLast I heard the petition was in the borough park, not a very convenient place for most people. Center Square or the in front on the Post Office would be a much better place.

ReplyWe had to pay for a school swimming pool and we now have no pool. The taxpayers here are seen by the school board as a never ending money supply. The parasites on the school board seeks to drain every ounce of blood from the taxpayer. It is really time to change the state constitution to take away the power of taxation from school boards.

On the article Residents: Nazareth Pool Must Open, What Can We Do?
Arthur
3:31 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2013
ReplyAt this time we don't know why the pool will not open. I find myself in disagreement with the Council frequently but I can not believe they want the pool closed. Let us find out what is going on, then pass judgment. More importantly, let us find out if there is anything we can do about it.

ReplyRight, the police did not see Sandt driving but they charged him with DUI. Didn"t they say since they did not see Audenreid driving they could not charge him with DUI? So much for special preference the police insist they don't give to politicians.

On the article Pope's Resignation an Opportunity for Change, Residents Say
Arthur

ReplyIt is time for an American pope, or at least one not from Europe. We also need a pope who will change the man made rules in the Church, for example, priests should be allowed to marry and women should be allowed to be priests. Divorce should be allowed. These are man made rules within the Church that date back hundreds of years.

Why do we need a pool for competition? Were we not forced to pay for a pool at the school so they could have competitions there?
