Kilgore, then does a black man who talks 'jive' (sorry I'm old enough to remember that word) invite ridicule? What would your stance be in that situation?
Sorry, being a mature adult means acting it. Just because it's tee'd up doesn't mean it's right to swing.

All for enforcing the laws Mark - but to assume that only conservative groups are doing this is pretty weak. I assume that you'd take this position for organizations of all political beliefs, otherwise you'd be a hack.
Are you for fair and equitable treatment, or are you a hack?

Kilgore, perhaps the people you hang around with are really slow, but the rest of us aren't. You know damn well how it's intended, and pretending otherwise makes you look weak.
Stop it already.

Doesn't matter Wally - excusing illegal behavior because crimes were committed by the other guy too is just inane. Illegal is illegal and needs to be dealt with.

Why do you use homophobic slurs? Do your Liberal friends know you hate gay people with such a passion that you use their sexual preferences as a slur against other people?
Stop with the 'bagger' stuff already, makes you look like a loon.

Who said anything about the second coming of Stalin?
Simon, please stop reading out of the Liberal playbook that whenever Obama is criticized you're supposed to bring up George Bush (why you think it's a good thing to compare Obama to one of the worst presidents in our nation's history, and think it's a positive, is beyond me) and then make the communist/socialist/facist references. It's old, tiring, and makes you look foolish and uneducated.
Your guy is on the left, get over it already - be like Sestak, where the Liberal banner proudly! He's more left than he lets on and he puts politics above what's right. You can say that all of Washington does that, and I'd agree with you. But the man ran on being different, he had an opportunity that comes along so rarely, to really change things. And he turned out to be just another hack.
His presidency will always be disappointing for that very fact.

Agree on all your points.
The other Jaindl is taking a swim in government funding, Mark with the NIZ. I'm surprised David isn't doing anything down there.

MAIG is not just against illegal guns, their leadership is anti-gun period.
Bloomberg is rabidly opposed to the 2nd amendment (except for his bodyguards, after all his life is more important than yours). Menino is as well, though not as vocal as Bloomberg.
The best example I can give is that you don't hear squat from MAIG about enforcing existing laws, but they lead the charge on new legislation. Criminals illegally possessing a firearm is already a crime - why are they not holding our elected officials accountable to pursue these criminals and prosecute these crimes to the fullest extent of the law?
