Polite Driver Leaves Upper Milford Accident Scene

Police say he apologized for hitting man's vehicle and later drove away.

While some may say that one out of two isn't bad, it's likely that a Montgomery County man would have to disagree after traveling through Upper Milford Township on Monday. What Peter T. Anderson found was a polite driver, who showed concern when he accidentally smashed into the back of Anderson's vehicle, according to state police at Fogelsville. He even apologized. While polite, the other motorist apparently wasn't honest, however, as Anderson soon found out. As the 43-year-old Oaks man checked on the welfare of his young children, he looked up to see the other driver pull away. No one was hurt -- including Anderson's three boys, ages 2, 5 and 8 -- but Anderson was the victim of a hit-and-run accident, police said. Anderson was traveling …
