EHS Boys Soccer Teams to Hold car Wash July 17
Green Hornet Soccer Association is running the fundraiser at The Burgery Company on Sunday.
Here’s a great opportunity to spruce up your car and support the Emmaus High School varsity and junior varsity boys' soccer teams at the same time. The Green Hornet Soccer Association is running a car wash on Sunday, July 17 from noon until 3 p.m. at The Burgery Company, 1458 Chestnut Street. The costs is $5 per car and the players will be washing the cars, according to Donna Brown, a member of the Green Hornet association. “We are the parent-run booster club for the two boys' teams,” Brown said in an email. “We use the money we raise through the car wash, snack stand, soccer clinic we run, as well as other fundraisers to help defray the costs of the teams throughout the year. “Things like practice shirts, goalie gear, assistant coaches …
