Emmaus Public Library program will offer a paranormal case study of the Lizzie Borden house and alleged hauntings there as part of its adult summer reading program.

Murder, mystery and ghosts will be the main topics as the Emmaus Public Library presents "The Lizzie Tapes: A Paranormal Case Study" at 7 p.m. tonight. Paranormal investigator Al Rauber will discuss evidence of hauntings at the Lizzie Borden house in Fall River, Massachusetts. Rauber has been called New Jersey's premier paranormal investigator. He has consulted on TV shows including: Tonight's program, the third in the Emmaus Public Library's four-part adult summer reading program called "Between the Covers," is free and open to the public. The final session of Between the Covers is scheduled for July 30 at 7 p.m. During the July 30 program, participants are invited to share their favorite books in an open forum.

A ghost hunter's collection of items related to spirits, aliens and other strange creatures is featured at the new National Museum of Mysteries and Research Center in Columbia, Pa., near Lancaster. The collection belongs to Rick Fisher, a paranormal investigator who has delved into 1,000 alleged hauntings during the past 50 years. The museum is set to open in the basement level of a building at Third and Locust streets on Saturday, Oct. 15. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Fisher's collection includes toys and movie memorabilia from "Ghostbusters" and "E.T."
