New Pizza Shop Replacing Vera Cruz Cafe?
Signs in the window at the Vera Cruz Cafe announce that 'Papa Rossi's' will be coming soon.
The Vera Cruz Cafe at the corner of Main Road East and Vera Cruz Road has been closed and dark for the last month or so. Initially, handwritten signs in the window said that the popular local eatery was closed for renovations and due to reopen mid-October. Mid-October came and went and Vera Cruz Cafe remained dark. Yesterday, handwritten signs in the window announced the coming a new restaurant called "Papa Rossi's" and indicated that the new eatery is hiring for variety of positions. Rossi's Pizza & Italian Restaurant on State Street is not related to the new restaurant, according to a Rossi's manager who spoke to Patch by telephone Saturday night.

In my Italian estimation, Papa Rossi's Pizza is the VERY BEST in the Valley. I have had my share of pizza's, but Papa Rossi's to me is what pizza should be. That home made dough of his is delicious. Oh my word... His picture should be next to the word delicious in the dictionary. Try it. You will be glad you did. more ›
