There are Easter egg hunts on both sides of Emmaus scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m.
Need to take the kids somewhere to run around outside? Can't get your fill of hard boiled eggs? Either way, Emmaus is the place to be on Saturday, with head-to-head Easter egg hunts scheduled on each side of the mountain at 1 p.m. sharp. Both hunts will be held rain or shine and both should prove to be a lot of fun. Too bad you have to choose between them. Police say he cursed and spit inside restaurant.
Something wasn't sitting right recently with a patron in an Upper Milford Township restaurant. Was it the food, the service or the company? Police weren't specific, but they said an Allentown man began cursing and spitting about 9:20 p.m. Feb. 14 inside Pickles Steak House at 3941 Chestnut St. His night probably didn't improve much after that either. Joshua T. Sewell, 27, of the 1300 block of 10th Street was charged with disorderly conduct for his actions, according to state police at Fogelsville. In another Upper Milford incident, police said a patron inside a township social club wasn't much happier two days earlier. It's unlikely his victim was either. The 60th annual celebration will be held on Sunday, Aug. 21 in Mystic Chain Park.
Music, “Uncle Jeffy,” classic cars, cake walks, lots of food, and more will be featured at the 60th Annual Homecoming of Vera Cruz. It will be held 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 21, rain or shine at Mystic Chain Park; however, the day’s activities begin at 9:30 a.m. with a homecoming service held at the Vera Cruz E.C. Church, led by the Rev. Robert Klersy. Mopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley will display some classic cars at the event to benefit Dream Come True. Some special activities include raffles, a coloring contest for kids, a bake sale and a free hot dog for anyone wearing a homecoming T-shirt from previous years. The day's entertainment begins at noon with “School’s Out.” This is a new band in the Lehigh Valley that plays a variety of …
