Police: Man Reports Motorcyclist Struck Him in Face

Driver passed by motorcycles in Upper Milford says one rider came back and hit him, police say.

An area man had an eventful trip recently when he traveled an Upper Milford Township road, police said. Eric Richard Tremmel, 20, of Emmaus, was driving east on St. Peter's Road at 3 p.m. Nov 23. He was passed by several motorcylists as he approached a traffic light at Chestnut Street, according to state police at Fogelsville. One of the motorcyclists next came back to Tremmel's vehicle and struck him in the face, according to police. There was no mention of whether Tremmel was injured. Police also did not say what action, if any, might have caused the altercation. However, police are investigating the incident as harassment.

Pair Assault Each Other in Upper Milford, Police Say

The following Upper Milford incidents have been reported by state police at Fogelsville. They do not indicate conviction.

State police at Fogelsville reported the following recent incidents in Upper Milford Township: Burglary: Reported Nov. 7 by Karen Drahushuk Hamm of 5037 Wendi Drive W.; two full red plastic 5-gallon cans of gas taken from her residence between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7, police said; estimated value $50. Charged: Kyle Lewis Schreiber, 19, of Old Zionsville; at 9:05 p.m. Nov. 13 with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia; found as a result of a traffic stop at Chestnut Street and Buckeye Road, police said. Charged: Heather Ann Schreiner, 20, of Wescosville and Dylan Matthew Kehs, 18, of Zionsville at 4:44 p.m. Oct. 25; both with harassment for physically assaulting each other in the 5300 block of Ridgeway Drive, police said.

Police: Thrown Shoe Whacks Woman

Local man is accused of shoving woman to the ground twice and tossing a shoe at her, troopers say.

As the saying goes, the other shoe dropped recently for a local man who stands accused of harassment following an alleged physical confrontation in his back yard. Sean Will, 44, of 4486 Driftwood Lane, Lower Macungie Township, got into an argument with a woman at 10:25 p.m. Oct. 12. He struck the 43-year-old woman in the nose with a shoe he threw at her, according to state police at Fogelsville. The confrontation also included Will shoving the woman twice to the ground, police said. No injuries were reported. With one shoe already thrown, the other one dropped, so to speak, with police saying that Will was cited for harassment.

Emmaus Woman, Teen Try to Leave Walmart Without Paying

The following arrest information was supplied by state police at Fogelsville. It does not indicate a conviction.

Charged: Diana Lin Lecessi, 47, of Emmaus and a 15-year-old girl; Sept. 20 with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; the two attempted to leave the store without paying for $415.07 in merchandise, police said, processed at Lehigh County Central Booking Center. Burglary: Reported in the 5900 block of Wayside Drive; front door forcibly entered between 3:45 and 10 p.m. and several unspecified items taken from the home, police said; no loss value provided. Charged: 17-year-old boy with punching a 12-year-old boy in the head three times on Sept. 19 at 5022 Meadow Lane, police said; harassment charge filed through Magisterial District Judge Michael Faulkner of Upper Macungie Township. Pushed Woman's Head Dents Car in Upper Milford, Police Say

Man is charged with simple assault - domestic violence in incident with 62-year-old female, according to police.

An Upper Milford Township man was charged Sept. 25 with pushing a 62-year-old woman against a parked car hard enough that her head dented the vehicle, according to police. Timothy E. Lafaver, 19, pushed the woman from behind at 3:35 p.m. at a home in the 4100 block of Salem Drive, according to state police at Fogelsville. The woman struck the car hard enough with her head to leave a visible dent. She also had a cut finger. Police did not say whether any of the injuries required medical treatment. They also did not say what sparked the incident. Nor did they say whether the man and woman were related, although domestic violence being added to the charge suggests they were. Man Left Naked After Fight With Mom

Tussle with mother leaves son outside with no clothes.

A mother-son argument went from loud to violent to embarrassing recently, according to state police at Fogelsville. Trouble began as Maryann Boone, 53, and Christopher Janney, 31, argued Sept. 8 inside the residence at 4255 East Texas Road, according to state police. The 8:45 p.m. quarrel at the Lower Macungie Township home became physical when the mother held her son down on the floor. He subsequently bit her and spit in her face. The mother also bit her son once on each hand. Janney was able to break free, police said, as he wriggled out of his clothing. That maneuver might have seemed like a good idea until Boone ousted her son from the house -- naked -- until police arrived, troopers said. Police cited both for harassment.

Police: Man Threatens to 'Smash Her Face In'

Upper Milford domestic dispute brings charges.

A recent early morning argument led an Upper Milford Township man to tell a woman he would "smash her face in," according to police. Those words brought a police response and jail, according to police and Lehigh County Court records. Corey David Beitler, 42, of 4621 Mill Road argued with a 38-year-old woman at his residence at 1:38 a.m. July 15, according to state police at Fogelsville. The argument escalated into the woman being threatened that she would be hit in the face. Beitler was charged with terroristic threats and harassment. A preliminary arraignment was held before Magisterial District Judge Karen Devine of Allentown. Beitler was unable post the $5,000 bail that was set and was committed to Lehigh County Prison, according to …

Apparent Upper Milford Road-Rage Act Shatters Window

A recent Upper Milford traffic incident might leave one motorist yearning for the days of blaring car horns and the finger salute. True, these are impolite gestures and annoying in their own right, but the alternative was a verbal altercation that ended in the victim's window being smashed when the other motorist punched it, according to police. Christopher Matthew Reed, whose hometown was omitted by police, was driving on Main Road Road W. near Jasper Road about 6:45 a.m. June 8 when another motorist passed him on the roadway that was marked with a double yellow line, state police at Fogelsville said. $5,000 Loss in Emmaus Copper Caper

Burglar steals piping from nearby residences, police say.

A burglar recently took a shine to copper piping inside two Emmaus residences and removed a total of about $5,000 worth, according to borough police. The theft was reported June 4 from two unoccupied homes at 17 and 21 Main St., police said. Copper and other scrap metals have been particular targets of thieves who look to turn a quick buck through resale at scrapyards. In other recent incidents reported by Emmaus police: Charged: Christopher Jacob, 37, of 824 Eagle Drive June 17 with simple assault and harassment after a domestic disturbance at the residence, police said; a victim displayed minor injuries and was treated at a hospital and released; committed to Lehigh County Prison. Car Climbs Embankment, Hits Tree in Upper Milford

Vehicle is disabled but occupants are unhurt, police say.

A Macungie-area driver recently lost control on a curve in Upper Milford Township, sending his car up an embankment and into a tree, according to police. Fortunately, neither he nor his passenger were injured, according to state police at Fogelsville. Marcus G. Dengler, 17, was traveling eastbound in front of 4402 Main Road West at 6:55 p.m. May 28 when he lost control on a curve, police said. His car skidded across the opposite lane, went up the embankment and struck the tree with the driver's side rear fender. Dengler's passenger, Matt Dengler, also 17, was unhurt as well, police said.
