Emmaus Drum and Bugle Corps Needs Place to Practice
The Emmaus Sentinels Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps needs a place to practice. Can you help?
Brad Fogel, the business manager of the Emmaus Sentinels Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps contacted Emmaus Patch this week to see if Patch readers can help the corps out with a problem – the group needs a place to practice. The Sentinels Alumni was started back up in 2009, Fogel explains, to march in the Emmaus 250th anniversary parade, and has been in together ever since. Recently, he explains in an email message to Patch, “we have run into a slight roadblock as we are running out of places to practice.” Normally, he says, the group practices on the third Sunday of the month at two different locations – the Emmaus VFW and Unami Fish and Game. “What happens,” he writes, “is the drums go to the VFW from 2 to 5 p.m. and the horns to Unami from 2 …
