Saturday's Polar Plunge will feature hardy souls who will venture into the icy Delaware River in Easton to raise money for Special Olympics
The first-ever Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge is planned for Saturday at Scott Park along the Delaware River in Easton. The event will benefit Special Olympics and is expected to draw hundreds of participants. Cost to participate is $50. 2013 Plunge Schedule Parking: All parking will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that Larry Holmes Drive in front of Scott Park will be closed to allow for easy walking and access to the plunge area. There are numerous metered parking spots and lots available within a short walk of Scott Park. Shoes: All plungers must wear shoes into the water. Bare feet are not allowed for safety reasons.
