Several students from Emmaus have been cited by their colleges and universities for academic achievement: Katharine Smolinski, of Emmaus, has been named to the Dean's List at Villanova University for the fall 2012 semester. Smolinski is studying Comprehensive Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Loyola University Maryland has named Peter Hadjokas to the Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. The following Emmaus residents graduated from DeSales University, Center Valley, during a Jan. 19 commencement ceremony: Dale Brown of Emmaus, has been named to the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2012 semester. Several students from Emmaus Patch have been cited by their colleges and universities for achievement: Amber Moralis of Emmaus, recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Moralis earned a Master of Arts degree in Photography. Three students from Emmaus were among the 250 Wilkes University degree recipients in December 2012. Eric Rivers of Emmaus, has been named to the fall 2012 Dean's List at Mansfield University. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must be attending the university full-time and attain at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester.
