Police: Metal Knuckles Bring Charges for Emmaus Teen

The following incidents have been reported by Emmaus police. They do not indicate conviction.

The Emmaus Police Department released the following recent incidents pertaining to the borough: Reported Dec. 27, 2012. Arrested. Angel Cruz, 39, of 102 S. 3rd St., Apt 1, Emmaus, for Assault, Harassment and Resisting Arrest after a domestic incident at his residence that occurred 12/24/12. Processed at Lehigh County Central Booking and committed to Lehigh County Prison. Reported Dec. 27, 2012. Charged. A 16-year-old male from Emmaus with Possession of a Prohibited Offensive Weapon after being found in possession of metal knuckles in the 500 block of Chestnut Street. Charges filed with Lehigh County Juvenile Probation.

The Emmaus Police Department released the following recent incidents pertaining to the borough: Reported Nov. 16: Arrested. Kyle Brey, 27, of 233 Ridge St., Emmaus, for Assault and Harassment after a domestic dispute at his residence. Processed at the Lehigh County Central Booking Center and committed to Lehigh County Prison. Reported Nov. 22: Arrested. Phillip Anthony Martinez, 25, for Assault and Harassment after a domestic dispute at his residence. Processed at the Lehigh County Central Booking Center and committed to Lehigh County Prison. Teens who Beat man With Brick Chased Through Emmaus

Two Allentown teens were arrested and face attempted homicide and other charges in Emmaus and Salisbury.

Two Allentown teens face homicide charges after allegedly beating a man over the head with a brick and robbing him as he waited for a bus outside Lehigh Safety Shoe, 1105 E. Susquehanna St., Tuesday morning in Salisbury Township, according to court records and news reports. Darrell Pippinger, 18, of 630 N. Fourth St., was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, simple assault, aggravated assault, robbery and other offenses, according to court records. His alleged accomplice, Giancarlo Saldana, 15, of 133 Tilghman St., was also arrested and charged with attempted homicide and numerous other offenses and will be charged as an adult according to The Morning Call. Upper Milford Man Allegedly Punched Woman

Incident escalated from pushing to punching, police say.

An Upper Milford Township man recently was charged with punching a woman at his home, according to police. Donald Mark Brown, 45, of Shimerville Road pushed the woman and punched her about 9:05 p.m. May 31, said state police at Fogelsville. Police gave few details about the incident. They did not say whether she was injured or what initiated the dispute. Brown was charged with harassment, police said. In another Upper Milford incident, Linda Mondin of 4502 Shimerville Road reported to police that someone stole her credit card information, police said. Her credit card was used to purchase $130 in video games on May 22, police said. Anyone with related information is asked to contat Cpl. Louis P. Gober at 610-395-1438.

Four Girls Fight at Emmaus High, Causing Minor Injuries

Three are charged criminally, a fourth gets probation program, police say.

Four girls got into a melee at Emmaus High School on Dec. 1, resulting in charges and minor injuries, according to police. The injuries were treated by the school nurse, according to Emmaus Police Sgt. Charles Palmer. Two 18-year-olds were charged with assault, another 18-year-old with disorderly conduct and a 17-year-old was enrolled in the Impact Project probation program in lieu of a disorderly conduct charge. Names were not released for the three 18-year-old adults. Police also were called to the high school at 500 Macungie Ave. on Dec. 16 for a fight between two 14-year-old girls, police said.
