Allentown native Amanda Seyfried is included in a photo gallery of "Worst Hairstyles in Movie History" for the red wig she wore in last year's thriller "In Time." The list also includes Dustin Hoffman in "Tootsie" and Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally." Seyfried's breakthrough role came in 2008 in the movie musical "Mamma Mia."

But for Juliann Cichocki, daughter of Michael and Brandy Cichocki of Lower Macungie Township, acting has become a way of life. “I always wanted to be an actress,” she said. According to her mother, Juliann, a third-grader at Seven Generations Charter School in Emmaus, showed an interest in acting at the age of 2. “She would watch the TV and try to imitate what the actors and actresses were doing,” said Brandy. Kylee Wigfield, 10, found the experience of acting in DeSales University production both tiring and exciting.
Kylee Wigfield got the acting bug when she performed in a talent show a few years ago at Jefferson Elementary School in Emmaus. “I like singing and dancing,” Kylee says. “So I got the idea that I should start going in plays because you are singing and dancing sometimes.” After the talent show, Kylee, now 10, performed in productions at her church, Bethel Bible Fellowship Church in Emmaus. She also had a role in “Seussical” at the Civic Theatre in Allentown. Her performance at the Civic Theatre prompted the director to pass along her name to the director of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, “South Pacific,” at DeSales University in Center Valley. The musical, which involves the U.S. Navy during World War II, was slated to run this summer…
