Rev. Roger C. Fenstermaker, 81, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at home. He was the husband of Joan C. (Scanlin) Fenstermaker. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in June. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Russell and Caroline D. (Caine) Fenstermaker. Roger received his Master of Divinity Degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown in 1961. He served churches in Catasauqua, Columbia, Jim Thorpe, Palmyra, Harrisburg, Allentown and Bethlehem before retiring. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Church, Emmaus. Carl David Dries, 70, of Macungie, died Wednesday, Feb. 27 at home with his family. He was the husband of Lois G. (Wetzel) Dries, to whom he was married for 48 years. Born in Breinigsville, he was the son of Grace (Geist) Dries of Emmaus and the late Junior Dries. Before retiring in 2010, he worked at Allen Organ Co. in Macungie for 50 years in various departments before retiring as an assistant foreman. For close to 15 years, he worked craft shows under the name Iron Mountain Toys, showing his creations of wooden cars, toys and banks. He loved his antique cars, and at the time of his death he held the office of activity director for Hershey Region Antique Car Club, was past president of the Ontelanee Antique Automobile Club of America, …

Born in Allentown, February 25, 1982, David was the son of James P. and Susan E. (Fennell) Mueller with whom he resided. He was employed as an insurance agent at Geico in Whitehall. David was currently attending LCCC working toward a degree in nursing. He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 2000. Todd Lynn Trexler, 41, of Emmaus, died on February 18, 2013 of natural causes, in his home. Born in Allentown he was the son of Larry L. Trexler of Palm Harbor FL and Jennifer D. (Engleman) Bauer of Alburtis. He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of ’90 and was employed by Armetta’s Italian Restaurant in Emmaus for many years. Todd enjoyed walking in Lehigh Parkway and golfing, but most of all he loved spending time with his best friend and son, Kyle. The Honorable Augustus Christian Martin, 68, of Ladson, S.C, entered into eternal rest Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. Born July 29, 1944 in Macungie, he was a son of the late Edward H. Martin and the late Jennie M. Hammond. After graduating from Emmaus High School, Martin enlisted in the United States Navy and served more than seven years on active duty in the submarine service. After leaving the Navy, he obtained an associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology from the Pennsylvania State University and began a 32-year career with Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. in 1970. George W. Rausch, 79, of Emmaus died Friday, Jan. 25 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Janice I. (Radler) Rausch, they were married 41 years. Born in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Frank and Loisa Rausch. He was a foreman at Allentown Clothes Dryer in Emmaus for 39 years before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed yard sales, flea marketing, growing tomatoes and most of all being with his family. (Miller) Wagner, to whom he was married for over 20 years. Born in Fogelsville, he was the son of the late Kermit D. and Pauline A. (Sechler) Wagner. Gary was a 1965 graduate of Parkland High School and was inducted into the 2001 Parkland High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his impressive three-year (1963-1965) domination in District 11 Track and Field. He won the District 11 100- and 220-yard dashes in three straight seasons and went on to win the state title in the 100 and 220 his junior and senior seasons.
