HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY: Either way you look at it, the House-passed state budget is underfunding the state’s pension plans.

We cannot afford what these politicians gave away to the teachers and to themselves. Now they areRead More scrambling and playing dumb, like how did we get in this mess. The in Harrisburg, puckered their lips and kissed our tax dollars away and for what.......V O T E S. Let anyone one of them who voted for the give away deny it. They won;t because they are cowards.

How anyone feels that they deserve 100% of pay when they retire is beyond me - we the taxpayers areRead More going to get hit and hit hard when this pension plan comes full circle - it has yet to hit the fan! Time for a tax payer revolt! Gov Corbett was all talk to get elected - typical politician - what has he done for the state since he took office! I'm disappointed and sorry I voted for him.

A better headline would be, "Legislators And Public Unions Continue To Wage Economic WarRead More Against The Private Sector".

Hello Everyone, Along with tonight’s program as announced, where we will be honoring andRead More thanking all those that serve(d) our Country and all those that serve us in civilian service; fire, ambulance and police, I want to announce a special inclusion to honor a personal friend of mine and I’m sure many, many others. I would like to let everyone know that at our CEPTA event tonight we will be showing a short video, that local and recently deceased Veteran Mr. Bob Kauffman had professionally made, for the remembrance of all veterans of wars. We had invited Mr. Kauffman to attend and speak at our event and he will surely be missed by all. In his memory I would like to dedicate this CEPTA event to his direct honor and memory. This fits perfectly into our program which is to celebrate and honor all those that serve(d) our Country in any war. Mr. Kauffman was a veteran from the Second World War and he received two Purple Hearts, for being wounded twice in action, and a Bronze star for his bravery. This is a very moving video that takes place at the American memorial cemeteries and beaches of Normandy, France. I invite everyone to come and pay honor and thanks to our local veterans.
