Upper Milford's hilly terrain is not only beautiful, but prevents the installation of large-scale sewer and water projects that can lead to over-development. The township building, which stands next to a cornfield, is the former Kings Highway Elementary School. The name of the school remains on the front of the building to honor generations of children who attended, and a small playground is still out back. The township's offices and meeting room are accessed by driving to the rear of the building. The township spent $1.2 million to renovate the building, a project completed in 2009. It has retained the school's auditorium, now used for larger meetings and as an entertainment venue. Upper Milford's three elected supervisors meet the first and third Thursdays of every month. Formal public meetings  begin at 7:30 pm. They are preceded at 7 pm by supervisors' workshops, also open to the public.
