Kahles wasn't the only music store in town....what about Shinglers?

We've also had Bob tune our piano in the past. He did a great job, was very reasonably priced and it played well for a LONG time in a humid farmhouse room with no A/C. He must have done something right! It was because of his services that I started playing the piano when I was seven. He knows his stuff.

Bob Kahle has tuned our piano for several years and offers excellent and reliable service at reasonable rates. He also used him to move our piano for us when we bought it from another family. I was surprised at how reasonable the rate was and the piano got here without a single scratch.
What is terrific about Bob is that he is a great craftsman as well as musician. A few years ago he rebuilt my mother's antique piano and restored it completely. It has never sounded better and is good for a couple more generations.

Bob tuned on our piano for years while it was slowly dying of dry rot from poor care during the years before we inherited it. The last time he came out, he tried to tune it, but finally told us it wasn't going to happen and didn't charge us. He's honest, he's got a good ear and he is reasonably priced. Can't ask for more than that! We'll have him out to tune our new-to-us piano when it needs it.
