There is quite a bit going on this weekend as this weekend marks the last official weekend of summer. Please get out and make the best of the entertainment and activities going on this weekend. -Oktoberfest @ Lee Gribbens on Main in Emmaus, PA; 11 AM-10:30 PM (This is Lee Gribbens first annual Oktoberfest. It is a two day festival that was created in the spirit of Community and to also bring awareness to the local music scene. This event is also special because we will be raising money for The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. Live music, food, drink, beer, open to the public and free to all. 50/50 raffles, chinese auction, and there will also be a raffle on a beautiful Laguna guitar!! Come out and say hello!! This is the list of bands that will be performing in the order that they are playing: Beyond Eden, Triage, AKA Wingnut, Black Fate, Chris Thomas, Birds of Prey, Effect of the Letter, Pitch Black, and Postal (Postal will be playing inside from 10:30 PM-2 AM inside of Lee Gribbens).

-Rockin' Out for Camryn @ Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club in Palmerton, PA; 12 PM (This is an event to raise money for a young girl diagnosed with a brain tumor who unfortunately was never given the chance to fight the tumor. She was able to save many lives through the donation of her organs by her family. This is the list of bands performing during the day in the order they are listed: Screaming Sunday, Shoot for Noon, ADD, Becky and The Beasts, Good Nite Kimmy, and Governing Murphy.) $25 at the door

-Rock for ALS Benefit @ Maingate Night Club in Allentown, PA; 2 PM-9 PM (Benefit is in memory of Larry O'Rourke, longtime Morning Call Eagles football and golf reporter. Larry passed a little over a year ago from ALS, Arterio Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gerhig's Disease. Just recently, his friend Joe McHale died from the same horrible disease. Sam Lugar, a longtime musician for the Sharks band and played the LV area for many years recently passed from cancer. A donation will be made to the children of the deseased and remaining proceeds will be donated to the ALS Foundation in memory of Larry. -WZZO End of Summer Bash @ The Riverside Barr and Grill in Easton, PA; 2 PM-2 AM (These are the bands performing during the day: Almighty Terribles, Surrender the Booty, Street Machine, Sunsets North, Back to the Action, and Pale Nimbus) Admission after 5 PM is $7.00, $5.00 for military/children, before 5 PM is free
