A new weekly blog to showcase a different local band, to allow people to get know the local bands a little more

*This week starts my new weekly blog where I will feature a "Band of the Week". This will let everyone know a little more about the local bands in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Please support our local musicians!!!*

Introducing GOVERNING MURPHY...

Governing Murphy is an original rock band out of Bethlehem, Pa. After years of playing the cover band scene, Murph and Wally Govern decided to start writing their own music. After compiling several songs and recording them, their fan base wanted more. Murph and Wally wanted a drummer that could bring out the dynamics of their guitar driven music. So, after his split with a local cover band, Murph brought in hard hitting drummer, Bill Caufman. Realizing they were about to hit the music scene hard they needed a bassist to match so they found someone that was equally as crazy as the rest of them, Ringo Short.

GOVERNING MURPHY IS:

Wally Govern III - guitar/lead vocals

Murph - Lead guitar

Ringo Short - Bass/vocals

Bill Caufman - percussion

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
