Register Now: Borough Summer Parks Program

Registrations for the 2013 Emmaus Summer Parks Program are now being accepted at Emmaus Borough Hall.

If you are considering signing up a child for the increasingly popular Summer Parks Program in Emmaus, there's no time like the present.

Registrations for the 2013 Summer Parks Program are currently being accepted in Emmaus Town Hall, 28 S. Fourth St., according to the borough web site.

Due continuously growing demand for spots in the program, this year the borough is requiring that all registration paperwork be completed before a child is allowed to participate. Registration must be completed by June 1 and will not be accepted after that date, the web site says. Photo ID is required at the time of registration.

Children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old who live in the borough are eligible to register. The program costs $35 per child.

The 2013 program will be held in Emmaus Community Park and is scheduled to run from June 24 to Aug. 2., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Those with questions are encouraged to call Kathy in the borough office at 610-965-0701.

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
