The start of school is just around the corner for Emmaus students, and with it comes the start of Emmaus High School football season.
The Hornets will be looking to improve on last year's season, which ended with five wins and six losses.
The team plays scrimmages against Coatesville (away) and Southern Lehigh (at home) on Aug. 17 and 22 before the regular season begins Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. at Pennrdige High School.
The rest of the season looks like this:
- Sept. 6—Bethlehem Catholic, 7 p.m., at Emmaus
- Sept. 14—Allentown Central Catholic, 7 p.m., J. Birney Crum Stadium, in Allentown
- Sept. 20—Freedom High School, 7 p.m., at Emmaus
- Sept. 27—Easton Area High School, 7 p.m., at Emmaus
- Oct. 4—Northampton Area High School, 7 p.m., in Northampton
- Oct. 11—Liberty High School, 7 p.m., at Emmaus
- Oct. 18—Whitehall High School, 7 p.m., in Whitehall
- Oct. 25—Nazareth Area High School, 7 p.m., at Emmaus
- Nov. 1—Parkland High School, 7 p.m., at Parkland
