The Vera Cruz Community Association is accepting registrations for the 2012 Vera Cruz Halloween Parade held on October 17 at 7 pm. The route is Main Rd. East, Main Rd. West, and Vera Cruz Roads. The parade stages at Mystic Chain Park, on Main Rd. East, at 6 pm. Highlights of the parade include the Emmaus High School Marching Band and the Geryville Hobo Band. The Vera Cruz Community Association will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, baked goods and drinks at the intersection of Main Road and Vera Cruz Road.
Cash prizes are awarded for individual marchers, groups and floats. Pre-registration is encouraged for groups and floats. Please call Chris Barebo at 610-967-1666 or email cvbii@ptd.net.
