EYA Basketball registration

The regular basketball season runs from mid-late October until the end of March and includes Boys Travel, Boys Intramural, and Girls Intramural programs.

Baby B-Ballers program (1st – 3rd grades,
boys and girls) - Fee $30 OPEN UNTIL 12/16

This program is an instructional program that focuses on developing basic techniques and skills. Scrimmages will be played, but emphasis will be on having fun and skill development.

Intramural (Boys League and Girls League) Fee $50 OPEN UNTIL 12/16

Beginners: 3-4-Unless you feel your player should either be in instructional or play up with the 5/6 graders

Juniors: Grades 5, 6

Seniors: Grades 7, 8, 9

Boys & Girls: The EYA sponsors boys’ and Girls teams in the Lehigh Valley Youth Basketball League (LVYBL) for Juniors (4th, 5th & 6th grades) and Seniors (7th, 8th & 9th grades). EYA boys play teams from Macungie, Salisbury, Upper Milford, KidsPeace and Bethlehem. There is an all-star game, a Christmas tournament, and a season ending playoff (Seniors only). The EYA also has sponsored its own tournament in recent years.

This program provides Intramural Level Boy’s and Travel Level Girls a structured league atmosphere with refereed games as opposed to half court practices and scrimmages.

Travel (advanced level players, boys 3rd through 9th grade) – Fee $85  OPEN UNTIL 10/15/11

3/4th Grade and 5th Grade (member, Lehigh Valley JV Basketball League)

Jr. Cadet: Grades 5 and 6 (member, Lehigh Valley Knee-Hi Basketball League)

Cadet: Grade 7 (member, Lehigh Valley Knee-Hi Basketball League)

Knee-Hi: Grades 8 and 9 (member, Lehigh Valley Knee-Hi Basketball League)

 

Players from all areas of East Penn School District are welcome to try out for EYA travel teams. EYA Travel Basketball will provide a good opportunity for a young player to improve his skills, play in a more competitive league, and enjoy basketball. If you think you’ve got what it takes, we invite you to tryout for one of our Travel teams.

Tryouts will begin in October, and team selection will be made by November 1st.
