Emmaus in the News: Odors and Swimming Results

New reports involving Emmaus.

The Morning Call reported on its website this morning that an odor at the 115 N. Fifth St. apartment building caused four resident to get sick from a "bug bomb."

In our Patch Report, Fire Chief James Reiss said it could have been worse; saying those chemical sprays are flammable and could have exploded.

"People should use common sense, read the directions and not use overkill," he said, believing the number of bug bombs used must have exceeded the proper number for the apartment's cubic footage.
