Coming Soon: Lacrosse Added to UMYA Fall Sports Offerings

Beginning in Fall 2013, the Upper Milford Youth Association is starting a lacrosse program for boys and girls ages 11 and under.

Registration is now open through the UMYA website, and the cost is $75 per player for the season, which will run from September through November.

"Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States," says UMYA President Matt Skekel on the youth association website, "and UMYA is proud to announce we are going to provide a beginner/developmental program geared to introduce the sport of lacrosse."

All practices will be held on Sunday afternoons at Lenape Park in Zionsville. More information can be found on the UMYA website.

Registration is also going on right now for other Upper Milford Youth Association fall sports, including:

• Soccer
• Kindersoccer
• Fall Baseball (A's and AA's)
• Fall Softball (Pixie, Pony, A's)
