St. Ann School Flower Garden Dedicated to Sister Josepha

Student Council at St. Ann School creates flower garden in honor of Sister Josepha Meyer for her many years of service.

The Student Council at  in Emmaus organized and created a flower garden to honor Sister Josepha Meyer for her many years of service to St. Ann School. All school students attended the April 25 garden dedication and prayer service. During the dedication, music was provided by the school choir, and the prayer service was led by Monsignor Mraz, pastor of St. Ann Church.

A graduate of Villanova University, Sister Josepha taught in Catholic schools for 49 years, 20 of them at St. Ann School. She continued on as a volunteer at the school for many years. She currently makes homemade soaps for supplemental income for the Sisters, and organizes parish programs to feed and clothe the needy. She has been a Benedictine Sister for 61 years.
