Lincoln Elementary to Host Fall Food Festival

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the PTO's mission of offsetting the cost of student field trips.

and the Lincoln Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) are hosting the school’s first-ever Fall Food Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Lincoln playground.

The Fall Food Festival is an opportunity for Lincoln students, teachers, family and friends to get together for a meal “al fresco” and to help raise money for Lincoln. Members of the local community are invited to join the fun too.

Several of the businesses who help to make the such a success each year – , and Lil’ Nutzy – will be participating in the Fall Food Festival. In addition, will also be serving up some of its menu favorites like pulled pork, barbecue beef and BBQ chicken sandwiches.

Rita’s, which is closing for the season on Oct. 16, will have large to-go containers on hand so that festival goers take some Rita’s home to enjoy that night, or stock the freezer for those long winter months when Rita’s is on hiatus.
