Key to Awesomeness: May 26, 2011 is a date Kayleigh Jardine will never forget. That evening she was the winner of a Freddy Award for her role as Madame Giry in the Emmaus High School musical “The Phantom of the Opera.”
Her award for Outstanding Performance by a Featured Female Ensemble Member will be kept in a showcase at the high school for all to see.

Kayleigh graduated from EHS in June and will be heading off to the University of Delaware in September. She will major in vocal performance and carry a double minor in Spanish and music theory.
In her spare time, Kayleigh likes to knit. She and some of her cast members picked up the hobby to pass time while waiting back stage for their cues during rehearsals and performances. She also enjoys playing the piano, reading and watching comedy shows from the ‘90s.
