"When God Calls" - rebuilding lives after Katrina

Gail E Mangold will discuss her experiences with volunteers who went to the devastated areas of Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina.  With thirty-five years of management and motivational speaking, Gail nurtured her students to achieve their goals. As a public speaker she is devoted to following God's call. After several mission trips south following Hurricane Katrina, Gail and her friends formed the non-profit organization "The Sons of a Carpenter." Inspired by God's awesome works on their faith journey, the desire to share this experience became apparent in order to encourage others to follow God's call to serve.  The book "When God Calls" describes the experiences of volunteers who went to the area to help people rebuild their lives following this devastating storm.
