East Penn Superintendent Promotes March 8 Legislative Forum

League of Women Voters to host Legislative Forum on Public Education on March 8 at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

East Penn Superintendent of Schools Thomas L. Seidenberger is quite concerned about Gov. Tom Corbett’s proposed budget and he’s been going door to door, meeting with area legislators to make his views known.

At the Feb. 27 meeting of the , he called upon the rest of the East Penn community to take up the charge, distributing an invitation to an upcoming Legislative Forum on Public Education to the board, and promoting the event to those in attendance.

Seidenberger described the forum as “a chance for the community to interact with our local legislators on the issue of education funding and to make the legislators come out and face them and tell them what their plans are for funding public education.”
