Consider Smokeless Fireworks, Seven Gen Student Says

Seven Generations Charter School 4th-grader says that people should think about using smokeless fireworks, a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireworks.

Special to Emmaus Patch by Julia Alnutt

Picture this, a couple of friends and family are doing a firework show. They launch it in the air and a huge fog of smoke covers the land. Then some of those animals breathe it in which damages their body and lungs and kills them. This happens a lot. Think about what we are doing. I think that everyone should use smokeless fireworks.

Smokeless fireworks are better and safer than regular fireworks. For example there are less chemicals in them such as gunpowder, ashes, smoke and carbon dioxide. Regular fireworks have all of that in it. Smokeless fireworks have a tiny amount of smoke but yet still make a spectacular and fun entertainment show for all to enjoy. The tiny amount of smoke is just the beginning of their environmental friendliness.

Smokeless fireworks are also environmentally friendly. They are made of recycled paper and are reusable and recyclable. Regular fireworks however have nothing of the sort. They are terrible and kill a ton of animals. Smokeless fireworks are the best of the best. They are a better resource and safer. If you still want to use regular fireworks make sure to do this: When fireworks are done being used, soak them in water until wet then wring them out and throw them in the RECYCLING BIN!

Smokeless fireworks are found in India and China. You can order them online or go to India or China yourself. I think ordering them is worth it because all the regular fireworks kill the animals and the environment. I think this product will be popular because first there are less toxic ingredients in them and they make a better explosion without harming any animals. This is why I think we should use smokeless fireworks.

In conclusion, I think we all should use smokeless fireworks because they are environmentally friendly, less toxic, and you can order them online. Next time you think of fireworks, go find smokeless fireworks.
