5 Things to Know About East Penn Enrollment Numbers

East Penn Superintendent of Schools Thomas L. Seidenberger shared the district's latest enrollment figures with the at Monday night's school board meeting.

As of Jan. 3. 2012:

• There are 3,531 elementary school students enrolled in East Penn schools. That's a drop of 12 students from December to January.
• There are 1,922 middle school students in East Penn. That represents an increase of one student.
• There are 2,541 students enrolled at . That's 26 fewer high school students than there were in December.
• East Penn has experienced an overall decline in enrollment of 37 students district-wide between December 2011 and January 3, 2012.
• There are currently 7,994 students enrolled in East Penn schools.
