Upper Milford Expected to Vote Against Allentown Water Sale

A presentation by a guest from Lehigh Valley Meals on Wheels is also on the agenda for the Upper Milford Township Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday.

A resolution opposing the City of Allentown’s proposed sale of its water is among the items on the agenda for the Upper Milford Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday.

If the measure if passed, Upper Milford would put on the record its angst over the proposed 50-year leasing of Allentown’s water and sewer. The issue was brought up at the Supervisor’s Feb. 21 meeting and the board directed staff to draft an ordinance for consideration at its March 7 meeting.

A presentation by Lehigh Valley Meals on Wheels is among the other items on the agenda.
