Time to Toss the Tree? Borough will pick up until Jan. 13

Emmaus residents can leave their Christmas trees at the curb from now until Jan. 13.

The Emmaus Public Works Department will continue to pick up Christmas trees for Emmaus Borough residents through Jan. 13. Trees should be left at the curb, without a bag.

After Jan. 13, residents looking to toss their old Christmas trees must take them to the  Emmaus Compost Center, located on Klines Lane, which will be open from Jan. 16 through Jan. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Christmas trees and other yard waste can be dropped off during those times, according to the borough Web site.
