Mackenzie Won Emmaus by 112 Votes

Special election to fill 134th House district seat came down to 112-vote difference in Emmaus and Upper Milford.

The April 24 special election to fill the 134th House district seat came down to just 112 votes in Emmaus and Upper Milford Township.

GOP candidate defeated Democrat in the Emmaus area just as he did in the overall results - but the margin of victory was smaller here. Mackenzie got 1,133 votes compared to 1,021 for Slattery.

Districtwide, by more than 1,900 votes in the hotly contested race.
