This fall, state Rep. Justin Simmons (R-131) will host a series of town hall meetings at various locations in the 131th district to give him the opportunity to be in the same room with his constituents and to hear what's on their minds, according to a press release.
"Meeting face to face with residents is a critical part of any public servant’s job," Simmons said in the release. "I look forward to these town hall meetings because they give me a chance to listen to what folks here at home have to say about issues impacting their communities and legislation we are working on in Harrisburg."
"My staff and I are also available to answer any question constituents may have on state-related services we can provide through my district office," he added.
The next Simmons town hall meeting will take place in Coopersburg on Friday, Oct. 18, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Borough Hall, 5 N. Main St.
Simmons will also hold a town hall meeting in Lower Milford Township on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. The Lower Milford gathering will be held at the township municipal building, 7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg.
The 131st district includes Salibury, Upper Saucon, Lower Saucon and Lower Milford townships, as well as Coopersburg Borough and portions of Allentown and Upper Milford Township.
