Meet East Penn School Board Candidates Tuesday

East Penn Invested Citizens and the East Penn Chamber of Commerce are hosting a non-partisan candidates night featuring East Penn School Board candidates on April 30.

East Penn Invested Citizens (EPIC) and the East Penn Chamber of Commerce invite voters to the Macungie Institute on Tuesday night from 7 to 9 for a chance to meet the candidates running for East Penn School Board in the upcoming May 21 primary.

All school board candidates have been invited to the non-partisan session, according to an EPIC flier about the program, and the public is welcome to contribute questions prior to the event to epicupdates@gmail.com.

According to an unofficial list from the Lehigh County voter registration office, the following candidates are on the ballot for the May 21 primary:

  • Incumbent Rebecca Heid
  • Chris Donatelli
  • Wanda Mercado-Arroyo
  • Michael Moxley
  • Z. W. Munson
  • Garrett Rhoads
  • Alecia Weaver

All candidates are cross-filed in the race, meaning they will appear on the Democratic and Republican ballots.
