Assistant Professor in Hotel/Restaurant Management at Northampton Community College

I am comfortable with the budget process and feel I have represented the community.

What do you see as the East Penn School Board’s primary role and responsibilities?
Assist in drafting policy, participate in the budget process, listen and represent the views of the community, support educational standards and district wide goals.

Tell us about three major challenges facing East Penn School Board and how you would address them. (Please be as specific as possible):
1. Budgeting process – continue to find cost saving measures and new possible revenue sources. Continue to look at the funding from the Federal, State, and Local sources.

2. Public education –Support new technology and ideas in classroom teaching. Praise the accomplishments of our youth. Continue to participate on the board of LCTI.

3. Community support – Listen to members of the community and support a system based on offering the best possible education to our students.

How much are you spending to run? How is your campaign being funded?
At this point in the campaign, I’ve only spent time and effort.
