5. Today in History: Christopher Robin Milne, who was immortalized in his father's "Winnie-the-Pooh" stories, was born on this day in 1920. When Christopher Robin was about a year old he received a stuffed bear as a gift and began a collection of stuffed animals that inspired his father, A.A. Milne, to start writing imaginative stories about toy animals.
