Emmaus Still Needs Food Vendor at Community Pool

Borough of Emmaus has been advertising for a new food vendor for the pool at Emmaus Community Park since late February.

Emmaus Borough Councilman Brent Labenberg reported to council last night that the borough still doesn’t have a vendor to operate the concessions stand at the Emmaus Community Pool this summer.

voted at its Feb. 21 meeting to to take over the concessions stand at the pool from March 26 to Sept. 3.

Council is looking for a vendor that can keep the stand open from noon to 8 p.m., primarily serving swimmers at the pool and visitors to .

In the past, council has said that it isn’t looking to make money from the concessions stand. The borough simply wants to have a food stand at the pool to serve the community.

So far, the job remains open.

Labenberg said: “If you know someone who wants to operate a snack stand at the pool, send them to borough hall.”
