Councilman Praised for Role in VFW Flagpole Dedication

Emmaus Borough Councilman Nathan Brown is praised by his peers at the July 16 borough council meeting for his involvement in a July 15 Emmaus VFW Post 7088 Flagpole dedication.

Councilman Nathan Brown’s ears should have been burning on Monday night.

Although Brown wasn’t in attendance at the July 16 borough council meeting, his name was brought up repeatedly by those wishing to sing his praises. Brown was a speaker at a special July 15 flagpole dedication in front of Emmaus VFW Post 7088 honoring Ben Koltisko. Brown was also very involved in the events leading up to Sunday’s ceremony.

Fellow Councilmen Wesley Barrett and Michael Waddell and Emmaus Mayor Winfield Iobst all took the opportunity to compliment Brown during the meeting.
