Bike Ban Lifted in Emmaus Parks

Emmaus Borough Council has approved the use of bicycles in the borough's parks.

Emmaus Borough Council agreed to allow bicycles in borough parks at its meeting Monday night.

Acting on the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Committee, council unanimously agreed to lift the ban on bikes in Emmaus parks, enabling park visitors to ride on trails and other suitable areas.

The use of bicycles remains prohibited in Triangle Park and in park pavilions.
