Dead Woman Found in Emmaus

Members of the public Facebook group “You know you grew up in Emmaus when…” were buzzing last night about a pair of Emmaus-related deaths yesterday.

Emmaus police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old woman found dead on Macungie Avenue, according to a report in The Morning Call last night. Yesterday afternoon on Lower Macungie Road.

The Facebook group string describing the two incidents begins with the words: “A tough day in Emmaus today...”  It includes more than two dozen comments, many offering condolences to the women's families.

One group member writes: “Death is difficult enough to deal with, but when it's a sudden tragedy, it is oh so difficult to wrap your mind around let alone your heart. Scott, I agree, praying for peace for the families.”
