Vehicle's Gas Cover Pried Open but Siphoning Fails

Someone pried open the locked gas cover of a vehicle at Mark 1 Restoration Service in Upper Milford Township but failed in an effort to siphon gas, state police at Fogelsville said.

The incident at Mark 1, at 4251 Chestnut St., occurred between 12:30pm Monday and 8am Tuesday, a state police fax said.

Nothing was taken from the vehicle -- gas or otherwise -- and an investigation continues, the fax said. The fax did not specify the kind of vehicle involved.
