Thief Snags Tires from Upper Milford Repair Shop, Police Say

Five-minute window is all it took for someone to make off with eight tires from Old Zionsville business, police say.

The owner of an Upper Milford Township automobile repair shop is in need of some tires of his own following a recent theft from the business, police said.

Bachman Auto Repair, of 5421 Chestnut St., was victimized within just five minutes on Sept. 12, according to state police at Fogelsville. They said the theft took place between 7:25 and. 7:30 p.m.

Eight used tires were stolen from the exterior, police said. The loss was estimated at $200.

Police did not report a description of the thieves or any vehicle that might have been used in the incident.
