State Police Crash Upper Milford Party

Several flee, but two are charged with underage drinking and one with giving false identification, troopers say.

A recent underage drinking party in Upper Milford Township had a major hiccup when state police paid a visit, according to a release.

Several participants fled on foot and drove away prior to troopers' arrival, according to . Someone reported a loud party being held at 5701 Stag Drive.

Police arrived just after midnight on Sept. 3 and said they found a 17-year-old had hosted the party. The teen appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

A second participant, Jonathan Phung Vu, 18, of Macungie was found in the area of the home and questioned, police said. He also appeared to be under the influence and was informed he was being charged with underage drinking. Police said they later learned the man gave a false name and address.

Both participants were charged with underage drinking, police said. Vu also was charged with providing false information to law enforcement.
