State Police Checkpoint Nets 3 DUI Arrests

Remember that sobriety checkpoint state police promised last week? Well, they remembered it, too.

Police set up the detail along Route 222 in Lower Macungie Township at 10:30 p.m. Friday. They did not say how long they conducted the checkpoint but said it netted three arrests for DUI, one for drug possession, one for underage drinking and several other traffic citations and warnings.
